Rough seas and difficult access makes this an unpopular place with the locals. There is not really an ideal wind direction because most directions tend to bring either shorebreak or shadowed winds from the cliffs. Westdale Bay is generally used more by surfers because of the waves. This spot isn’t really suitable for beginners and the lack of usable wind means there are very few windsurfers who sail here.
