This sandy W facing beach generally offers good sailing conditions in most tides. The best winds are NW and SW and these create fairly good slalom or wave sailing, depending on the conditions. Borth is not really suitable for beginners though as the rip tides can be quite strong and coastguards have to travel from New Quay.
Getting there: Head N from Aberystwyth on the B4572 and follow the road until you reach Borth. The beach is then on the left side of the road
