Dear snowboardfriends - Line Oestvold (Norway) died from the injuries she got during the FIS SBX World Cup in Chile this weekend. During the FIS World Cup in Chile this weekend a terrible accident happened. Our belowed boardercross-rider, Line Oestlund fell in the practise and were severely wounded. Last night she died at a Hospital in Santiago.
Line was a former world champion in BX, a very talented rider with a loving personality – with a smile on her face and always willing to give you a hand. She was one of the WSF staff at the Rookies Festival in Kongsberg last winter.
We offer our condolences to her parents and family, and share the emptiness all snowboarders throughout the world feel when loosing someone as precious as Line.
