This is sailing well above the sea, with different references, a different feet stance and totally different toy. It€™s a game of concentration and balance. Still, they must accept to take the time to learn « foiling » step by step. The AFS-1 board is a" progressive" concept. Its 112 liters volume is average, and allows getting quickly onto a plane. When flying, there is very little pull from the rig into the arms. Concentration, anticipation and balance between both feet positions are the keys to exhilaration. There are two foil boxes in the board, in order to facilitate the rider€™s progresses :€¢ Phase 1 The first box, the forward one, is to be used surfing strapless. It shall allow learning and discovering the foil, then mastering it.€¢ Phase 2 The second box, further aft, is to be used with feet in the foot-straps. Feet must be spread apart as much as possible, when remaining in a comfortable position. From 7 knots of wind speed, the AFS-1, with a 7.5 sqm sail, has the potential to fly above water !
