Starboard€™s Formula One is a board made for the Formula Experience One Design ClassAnd it is one of the most popular windsurfing classes in the world.Like Formula racing, it covers a very wide range of wind conditions and starts from just 7 knots of wind. The Formula Experience€™s equipment rules however, ensure that the board, fin and sails are affordable and durable.Formula Experience racing is currently established in Uruguay, France, Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Peru, Chili, Estonia, Denmark, Mexico and the USA, to name a few. On top of that, there are two key international events: the European Championships and the World Championships where the winners are crowned ISAF€™s European FE Champion and ISAF€™s World FE Champion respectively. Gonzalo Costa Hoevel is the 2013 World FE Champion, crowned in Araruama, Brazil.For 2015, Starboard upgrades the Formula One, both in shape and construction. The new Formula One uses the shape of the Formula 167 with its bullet-nose and side cut designs, and a new Tufskin Reflex technology: 3D foaming epoxy resin that expands to add skin thickness combined with Biaxial S-Glass for added stiffness, improved durability and improved flex.The result is a board providing more power, more wind range, higher upwind and deeper downwind performances.The Formula One Design QuiverStarboard€™s new FS One sail: 11.0m² and 9.5m² are three-cam while the 8.5m², 7.5m² and 6.5m² are twin cam.Based on the famous Severne Turbo profile.Severne Blue Line masts (select the 460, 490 or 530 length, depending on your sail size).75% pre-preg carbon construction.
